Deep Dish Dungeon Potion Recipes

Use a heated Kettle and water to brew a single ingredient, then collect the finished drink in an empty bottle. Recorded examples include Basil for Healing Potion, Cilantro for Stamina Potion, Dry Herbs for Immunity Potion and Azurea Mushroom for Vision Elixir.

Potions shown in player footage

These four ingredient-to-drink matches appear in player footage or screenshots of the released game. They are useful examples, not an exhaustive list of every possible brew.

The original footage shows one ingredient in the Kettle slot. It does not establish a universal recipe-unlock rule, exact recovery numbers or brewing times for every potion. Check the finished item in your game for its current effect and duration.

Seven recipes recorded in demo v1013

The Windows Steam demo v1013 data contains seven Infuser recipes. These historical values help identify additional drinks, but have not all been verified in the released game. The brewing time is distinct from the effect duration.

The demo database calls the station Infuser; the player’s full-game Kettle menu shows the Healing and Stamina names above. A launch-period player guide instead lists Algae for Stamina Potion, so check the Kettle result before brewing. Do not assume the demo timings, effects or all seven recipes are unchanged in later builds.

How to brew and bottle a potion

A player guide shows the Kettle recipe as one Iron Pot and two Chains. Build or use a Kettle, give it heat, add water and put the relevant ingredient in its single slot.

Follow the on-screen prompts for your controls. If the Kettle asks for fire, light the campfire; if it asks for water, fill it before starting. On patch 1.0.50.0, dismantling a Kettle no longer drops an extra potion bottle.

  1. Place the Kettle on a campfire and keep the fire lit. Bring a filled water container and an empty bottle.
  2. Add water to the Kettle. The player guide describes equipping a Water Bottle and interacting; a recorded player also adds water from a Water Flask.
  3. Put the ingredient in the Kettle, check the displayed potion name and start brewing.
  4. When the brew is ready, equip an Empty Bottle and interact with the Kettle to collect it.

Make Dry Herbs for Immunity Potion

At the Cooking Table, combine Cilantro and Basil to make Dry Herbs. One recorded menu shows two Dry Herbs as the output; place one in the Kettle and select Immunity Potion.

The recorded potion description says immunity lasts one minute, but does not list every protected hazard. The recording is from the full game before the Cooking Table unlock changed to Leather in patch 1.0.50.0.

Check your version and the result

An October player guide lists Algae for a Stamina Potion, while a separate full-game recording shows Cilantro in the Kettle with Stamina Potion selected. The reason for the disagreement is not established; check the name displayed by your own Kettle before starting.

The recorded examples predate Steam patch 1.0.50.0. The latest Steam patch announcement reviewed was 1.0.51.0, but its notes do not individually retest these recipes, and other platforms may differ. Do not confuse the treasure called Medicine Bottle with a Healing Potion.

Questions

Why can’t I collect the finished brew?

The player guide says to equip an Empty Bottle and interact with the Kettle after brewing. An unfilled Kettle or unlit fire must be addressed before starting.

Does Immunity Potion stop every hazard?

The recorded description says immunity for one minute. It does not list all affected attacks or environmental hazards.
