Mine goo and collect the clay

Yamamaru Niki’s October 2026 guide places clay-bearing goo in the sewers. Stumpt’s recording shows the Pickaxe hitting a target named Goo Pile and a Clay pickup afterward.

The recording shows one encounter, not a guaranteed drop from every pile or a fixed amount. If you need more, look for another pile rather than assuming the same one will regenerate.

  1. Bring a Pickaxe into the sewers and look for a Goo Pile.
  2. Equip the Pickaxe and strike the pile. Watch for material left on the ground.
  3. Pick up Clay when it appears; the recording shows a separate pickup prompt and an inventory notification.

Get a Pickaxe first

The October walkthrough describes finding a Pickaxe in the prison after entering through the webbed area. It also lists a Hammer, Prison Key, Small Key and Torch along the route.

Patch 1.0.51.0 added a Pickaxe recipe to the Workbench. The patch notes do not specify its ingredients, so check the recipe shown in your game.

Use clay for camp equipment

The October guide lists five Clay and five Scrap Metal for a Smelter. It also lists clay as a material for other camp equipment, including a water container. Check your current crafting menu for the recipe you need.

The sources establish a way to collect Clay, but do not establish a Goo Pile respawn time or that the same pile can be mined repeatedly. Patch 1.0.50.0 adjusted prison Goo Piles, so an older route may not match every pile placement.
