Deep Dish Dungeon Mods

Community mods exist for Deep Dish Dungeon. One author’s More Players mod advertises a four-person PC lobby, while Toolbox adds a cheat and convenience menu. These are third-party modifications; the Steam store and the mod-support discussion checked here do not establish official Workshop support.

A Workbench menu displays tools and item icons in Deep Dish Dungeon.

What is available?

The following are examples documented by their creator, kvotheous, rather than a complete list of community projects.

The Steam discussion asking for Workshop support contains a player request rather than a developer confirmation. Check the current store and developer announcements before assuming official support has been added.

How the four-player mod is meant to work

More Players version 0.3.1 was listed by its author on October 25, 2026. The author says the host creates a lobby for three or four; a higher value is clamped to four because the lobby service rejected larger values in their test.

The author reports feedback from groups of four, but two groups reported that the fourth player could not hear or speak. The 0.3.1 voice fix was not yet confirmed by a four-person group; the author recommends installing the mod on each player for that fix. The mod also changes resource and enemy-health scaling, so check its settings before starting.

  1. Back up the save before modifying the game. Check the More Players page and its required game-specific BepInEx pack for current versions and installation notes.
  2. Install the required pack and start the game once. The author says to extract the mod archive into the game folder, merging its BepInEx directory.
  3. On the host, choose the desired size under Settings > GAME > Max Players, then create a new hosted game. An already open game keeps its original size.
  4. Check the party in the actual lobby. The author says the log can show the requested lobby size; that log line by itself does not prove that four people joined.

Check updates and compatibility first

Compare your installed game version with the mod’s file date, changelog and known issues. Steam patch 1.0.51.0 was posted October 23, 2026; a mod page that predates a patch does not by itself establish compatibility with it.

For these mods the author specifies a game-specific BepInEx pack and reports that stock BepInEx can crash on startup. The author describes the pack as Windows-focused; macOS is unsupported or untested, and the pack’s own page says its Proton path was not yet tested. Console installation is not documented there. Do not assume a PC mod applies to an Xbox or cloud copy.
